Acta Asiatica Varsoviensia (AAV) is a scholarly journal of the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures of the Polish Academy of Sciences dedicated to various aspects of the culture of the Asian continent. Acta Asiatica Varsoviensia publishes original texts belonging to the humanities, in particular cultural and religious studies, history, as well as philosophy, linguistics and literary studies.

Illustrations are accepted.

All articles are checked for plagiarism using the Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate) and are subject to double-blind peer review by the most renowned external international experts in the respective field.

The journal is indexed in several international reference databases, including SCOPUS, CEJSH, DOAJ, EBSCO, ERIH Plus, Google Scholar.
